As games are on the board the MLB is set up with a busy night. One will likely be between the New York Mets and the Arizona Diamondbacks. Both of these teams are in competition to get a wild card place, which ought to help lead to an exciting match on Tuesday night. This match will begin at approximately 7:10 PM Eastern time.
The Diamondbacks have made a list of 75-69, that has them sitting in second position of the NL West. Arizona has won eleven of their last two matches down the stretch. They could make the playoffs, When the Diamondbacks may continue to keep up this streak. Arizona is two games back from the last wild card spot, but may advance with a few major road wins in this series.
New York has gone 73-70 throughout this year, which has them in fourth position of the NL East. If they want to sneak to a wild card place, the Mets have won six of their last ten games but will have to pick up this. New York is sitting three and a half matches from the final wild card spot. The Mets will look to win the next match of the show on Tuesday night.
These two teams have had seasons and have been in positions to make a playoff drive late in this year. Both groups have a bit of urgency as the year gets closer and closer to the ending. I anticipate a solid matchup as both teams look to acquire this show to move a step closer to making that final wild card spot.
The series between both of these teams was straight rear between May 31 and June 2. The very first game was a close one. J.D. Wilson Ramos, J.D. Davis, Todd Frazier, along with Robinson Cano all have dual digit homers also this year.
I think that the Mets have a marginally better hitting lineup, although Both of these teams have solid hitting lineups. Alonso was dangerous this season and it showed in last nights matchup. I believe they may pull off a triumph if Arizona's pitching team can get a way to slow Alonso down on Tuesday night.
Zac Gallen will begin on Tuesday night. Gallen has put a 3-4 listing through 13 starts this season. He has made an ERA of 2.50 and a WHIP of all 1.229 through those starts. Gallen start came against the San Diego Padres, where he allowed one hit and no runs to earn his third win of the season.

These two pitchers are solid throughout their starts this season. Gallen has put up the stats, but he's played in half the matches as Wheeler. Wheeler got a win and has a solid record. Gallen had a no decision in his start against New York as a member of the Marlins.
These two teams have gone 2-2 against each other in the summer series. Both groups are less than five matches back from the wild card spot. I feel that Arizona has got a chance to take the series lead with a win on Tuesday night. Gallen is a powerful pitcher and I like his opportunities to slow down New York. The Diamondbacks need to get the bats going, but when they can, I believe they'll win the next match of this series.
BetOnline has New York. This implies that the Mets will win this match around 56.5% of the time. I think that this game should be a lot closer to even. I enjoy the Diamondbacks chances to acquire, which makes them a strong pick for Tuesday night.
